For a Remembrance occasion (church eulogy) – 15 verses
We looked forward to the summers
When you’d come and grace our town
We’d wait for you and Grandma
To the airport we’d be bound
“There they are!”, we shouted with glee
As you and Grandma would appear
With your smiles as wide as canyons
And our grins from ear to ear
Our lives you’d fill for 14 days
As you hitched on to our train
We’d tug and pull in all directions
And get to know you once again
