For a 50^th wedding anniversary
(& retirement) – 35 verses

And, in retirement, there’s not much to do

But, Don and Catherine haven’t heard that yet

With volunteer work and traveling about

Always busy doing something, you can bet

You see, one of the joys of retirement

Is to be able to pick up and go

And go you do, to the globe’s far corners

Where you’ve experienced many a show  

There’s Australia, mate … and China too

Along with the U.K., U.S. and Europe, I’d say

Don’t forget Aloha in the South Pacific blue

I’ll bet you taught the locals about our “Eh?”
